1. Introduction

At Woof & Whiskers, we are committed to providing a safe, clean, and caring environment for every dog in our care. These policies and procedures ensure the safety and well-being of our canine guests and peace of mind for their owners.

2. Business Hours

  • Boarding Drop-Off: [ 6AM – 7PM Daily]

  • Boarding Pick-Up: [ 8 AM – 11 AM or by appointment]

  • After-hours pick-up/drop-off must be pre-approved and may incur an additional fee.

3. Booking & Reservations

  • All bookings must be made in advance via [phone/email/website].

  • A completed Client Registration Form and signed Policy Agreement are required before the first boarding.

  • Holiday periods require a 50% deposit to secure a spot.

    4. Drop-off & Pick-up Procedures

    • Dogs must arrive on a leash or in a carrier.

    • Upon pick-up, clients must review and sign the departure report (noting any changes in health or behavior).

    5. Health & Vaccination Requirements

    • Required vaccines:

      • Rabies

      • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

    • Flea/tick prevention is mandatory.

    • Dogs with signs of illness (vomiting, diarrhea, coughing) may be refused entry.

      6. Behavior & Policy

      • All dogs must be non-aggressive and safe around people and other dogs.

      • Dogs with history of biting, aggression, or severe anxiety must be disclosed.

      • We reserve the right to remove any dog from group play or boarding if behavior becomes unsafe.

      7. Feeding & Medication Procedures

      • Clients must provide their dog’s food, labeled and portioned per meal.

      • If food runs out, we will provide house food at an additional charge.

      • Medications must be provided in original containers with clear instructions.

        8. Emergency Care & Veterinary Authorization

        • In the event of illness or injury, we will contact the owner and/or emergency contact immediately.

        • If urgent care is required, we will transport the dog to the designated veterinarian or nearest emergency clinic.

        • All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the owner.

        9. Cleaning & Sanitation

        • Kennels, bedding, and play areas are cleaned and disinfected daily.

        • Water bowls are sanitized and refilled multiple times per day.

        • Accidents are cleaned promptly with pet-safe disinfectants.

          10. Staff Responsibilities

          • Ensure all dogs are monitored for signs of stress or illness.

          • Provide regular potty breaks, exercise, and socialization.

          • Keep detailed daily notes on feeding, behavior, and any incidents.

          • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility at all times.

          11. Client Communication

          • We provide updates via text or email during your dog’s stay (photos, behavior notes, etc.).

          • We encourage open communication and are happy to answer questions before, during, or after boarding.

            12. Liability Waiver
